Do you need something to do after school this winter?  All of our programs are free and open to 12-18 year olds.  We have a lot to choose from. Take a look  below to get a taste of some of our favorite clubs.

Join us for some good food and good company in our bi-weekly cooking club.  In the past we’ve concocted pies, cookies, our own Chex mix, fresh fruit smoothies, guacamole, salsa and more.  This winter we’ll be cooking to keep warm with bread, soups, casseroles, pizza and other hot winter treats.  (Cooking Club: Dec. 13th, Jan. 3rd, 17th, and 31st, Dec. 14th and 28th at 3:00 in meeting room A)

Cooking not your specialty?  We also have a teen writers group which proves to be one of our most popular clubs year round.  Be prepared to hear some stories, ranging from romance to horror, to political thriller, to fantasy. Bring a story along or just come to listen. (Writers Group: Dec. 12th, Jan. 2nd and 16th, Feb. 13th and 27th from 6:30 to 8:00 in the teen space.)

Are you a fan of Ireland?  Did you know that Derry, NH has roots in Derry, Ireland?  Join us to exchange information and interests with our friends at the Extern Youth Program in Derry, Ireland.  Make some new friends, and learn about Irish and American history while you’re at it.  (Derry Roots: Dec. 11th, Jan. 8th and 22nd, Feb. 5th and 19th from 3:30-4:30 in the teen space)

You can check out the rest of our teen programs under the calendar portion of our website(upper right).  Look for programs in GREEN,  or you can find us on Facebook at DPL Teen Space to get weekly reminders and stay up to speed on other Teen Space shenanigans.
