Healthcare can be intimidating. Luckily, the Elliot VNA is coming to the Derry Public Library for an engaging and informative session on how to advocate for yourself!  

The Elliot speakers will go over practical tips and strategies to communicate effectively with your healthcare team, understand your rights, and confidently navigate medical appointments and decisions. Whether you’re managing chronic conditions, planning ahead, or supporting a loved one, you’ll walk away with tools to be your own best advocate within the healthcare system.

This June, we're going to look at queer romances in cinema. While cinema can definitely contain stereotypes, we're going to look at examples that take queer romances seriously.

How do you play?

Grab a game board at the circulation or reference desks (One per family for those who are traveling together). The instructions are on the front of the board if you get confused.  You have until October 13^th to visit as many sites and complete as many challenges as possible. The addresses to each site are on the back. Hand in your game board by October 13^th to get a participation prize and be entered into the raffle.

We have a video game tournament, an escape room challenge, trivia, a costume contest, and Bingo for snacks! Plus, pizza and ramen for lunch!
