Winter Backyard Birds

 UPDATE: Registration has hit over 100, and is now closed.

Presentation will be held via ZOOM

 

Steve Hale from Open World Explorers returns with a new bird program! This program includes: ID tips are offered for identifying  common and not-so-common Winter birds frequenting the backyards in your area. Advice on attracting and feeding birds will be provided. Introduction to the annual Audubon Christmas Bird Count and how to participate is included.

Come join Ms. Yahira for online gaming one or two Thursday afternoons a month.  NIntendo Switch, game and Nintendo Online Account needed.  Afternoons from 3:30pm - 4:30pm

Registration required.  Youth ages 13- 18

Holiday Gift Making

Homemade gifts are the best!  They are made with love and completely unique.  Join Ms. Michelle for some Holiday Gift Making.  Usually, these gifts are top-secret, but you will need an adult to help you out.  Register in advance to pick up a Take It and Make It bag in our lobby.  On December 8th, at 4 pm we will post our tutorials for Sharpie mugs, hot chocolate kits, and gift bags on the Derry Public Library Facebook and You Tube pages.  If registration is full or you are unable to pick up a Take It and Make It bag you may complete these projects with materials from home (see below).
