Martin Scorsese: More than Gangster Films
When you think of Martin Scorsese, you likely think of gangster films like Goodfellas or gritty films like Taxi Driver. In fact, he's been accused of "only" being able to make gangster movies. In this porgram, Liz will take you on a deep dive of Scorsese's career. She'll show you a well-rounded filmmaker, a man who put his career and life on the line to make The Last Temptation of Christ, a man whose 30 year passion project wasn't a mob film, but a contemplative picture called Silence.
