Friends Book Sale

Visit our monthly book sale! Every second Saturday of the month from 9:30 am - 12:30 pm (check summer dates).

Paperbacks are $.50; Hardbacks are $1.00

Membership dues support cultural events for children and adults, library museum passes, and assist with the libraries’ wish lists. Membership categories and annual dues are listed below (choose your level of support):

  • Student/Senior (62 & older) – $3
  • Individual – $5
  • Family – $10
  • Individual Supporting – $25
  • Corporate – $100
  • Benefactor ($100.00+)

The Friends of Derry Libraries (i.e., the Derry and the Taylor Library) meet six times per year, on the second Tuesday in Dec., Feb., Apr., June, Aug., and Oct. at 7 pm, usually at the Derry Public Library.

The Friends sponsor a book sale on the lower level of the Derry Public Library on the second Saturday morning of each month from 9:30 to 12:30, except the months of July-August. The September book sale is held during Derryfest. All proceeds help support the Derry Public Library and the Taylor Library.

The Friends is a nonprofit organization. Your membership dues are tax deductible.
