Legends of dragons span the globe and stories of fire breathing dragons have been told for thousands of years. Join Ms. Kelly for a virtual summertime Take It and Make It dragon making project. Register in advance to pick up a Take and Make Fire Breathing Dragon bag in our lobby. On July 7th at 1:30 pm we will post our dragon making tutorial on the Derry Public Library Facebook and Youtube pages. If registration is full or you are unable to pick up a Take It and Make It bag you may complete this project with materials from home (see below).
Materials needed:
Take and Make kit (If you do not have a kit you may make your own. You will need our dragon pieces template which is available for download here and can be printed from home, two pieces of any color construction paper cut to size (7x9 inches and 7x1.5 inches), a paper towel tube cut to 7 inches, and tissue paper or streamers (any color(s) may be used.)
