Ukulele Workshop!

Join our friends from Derry's "Let's Play Music" for this hands-on Intro to the Ukulele. No ukulele required-- they will bring a few. Or, if you have your own, feel free to bring it.  Remember--ukulele's are available to check out from the library!

Guitar Workshop!

Derry’s Let’s Play Music will be facilitating a one-hour Intro to Guitar class at the library! Individuals of all ages are welcome to try out this versatile string instrument. Students will be invited to give it a whirl and jam with the teacher!

Craft Swap

If you have good quality craft supplies that you no longer need or want, or if you're interested in trying something new without a big upfront investment, come to our craft swap!

Donations accepted Friday, April 12th until 4pm or the following day during the swap. If you decide to bring your items on Saturday, please plan to attend right when the swap begins at 2:30 to provide the best selection.

You do not need to donate in order to come on Saturday, but there will be more variety if lots of folks donate!

Join our friends from Derry’s Let’s Play Music for a fun and informative workshop on piano basics.  This hands-on presentation will introduce you to this versatile instrument!

Sharks in the Gulf of Maine

Get an early jump on “Shark Week” and learn about the shark species that can found in the Gulf of Maine to include the New Hampshire seacoast and neigboring Massachusetts. Over a dozen species of sharks are regularly encountered in local waters. These range from the lowly dogfish, the bane of deep-sea fishing trips, to the Basking Shark, the second largest species of shark in the world.

Homeschool Hangout

Gather, connect, and play with other homeschool families.  Games and drawing materials will be available from the library, but please feel free to bring in any other materials or information you would like to share!
