Mental Health First Aid: Dealing with Trauma

Do you know how to effectively come alongside someone who has just suffered a traumatic event?  Natalie Larson, Executive Director of Soulsafe, will be offering a 90 minute seminar where you will learn the physical, emotional and spiritual damage done by extreme stress and loss.  You will learn ways to offer comfort and specific tools that can begin to bring healing to someone who is in severe emotional pain.  You will also learn ways that a care giver is also vulnerable to secondary stress and ways to promote personal resiliency.  This workshop offers information that will be helpful within your family, work and recreational life and in your community.  It is suitable for those aged 16 and above.
