Derry Garden Club presents Floral Design

Derry Garden Club members present a live demonstration on how to create a flower arrangement using a book as the inspiration.

The floral designers (Lady Bugs) from the Derry Garden club will be demonstrating the art and techniques used to create 2 or 3 floral designs using a book of their choice as the inspiration for the design.  

Floral design or flower arrangement is the art of using plant materials and flowers to create a pleasing and balanced composition. Evidence of refined floristry is found as far back as the culture of ancient Egypt.

The garden club's designers have won many local, state and national awards.  They are accomplished designers with a flare for artistry that is a wonder to behold.
