Forest Hill Cemetery Tour: Industrious Derry

Welcome to the Industrious Derry Cemetery Tour, where we’ll take a walk and explore the workers of Derry’s past. Join Erin Robinson, of the Derry Public Library, and TJ Cullinane, of the Derry Heritage Commission, as we discover the resting places of blacksmiths, doctors, milliners, teachers, librarians, and more. We’ll keep an eye out for unique iconography and uncover the history of Derry’s shoe industry as we stroll.

This program is made possible by a partnership between the Derry Public Library, Derry Heritage Commission and the Derry Museum of History.

-Meet at the main gate (navigate to 49 East Derry Road, and go between the Taylor Library and First Parish Church).

-Meet 10 minutes prior to start time at 6:00pm.

-You may park at the First Parish Church.

-Wear good shoes.
