Baseball as American Culture

Zoom Program

Join us for a fascinating history of the “American Pastime” with UMass Lowell professor Frank Morris. Learn how baseball galvanized a divided nation in the 19th century and became an allegory to our cultural identity in the decades to come. Includes a history of our beloved Red Sox and a look at how the game both reinforced and challenged American ideology over time.
