A house in Derry was designed in early '80's to take advantage of solar energy with thermal technologies available then - techniques that are still available, of course for anyone considering a build or modification today. This program will describe the design, function, and performance of the house built in 1985, and its recent further addition of solar electric panels which on sunny days delivers excess electricity back to the utility Net metering. This program will also cover the benefits of this house.
